Interior and Exterior
The Mazda3 can have cloth, leatherette, leather, or perforated leather seats, depending on the trim. The steering wheel can be wrapped in leather as well. Plus, the front seats can be equipped with internal heating elements so that you'll stay warm when the temperatures drop. You can get heated front seats and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat with two-position memory. You'll also appreciate that many new Mazda3 models have advanced keyless entry and dual-zone climate control systems.
LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights contribute to the modern aesthetic of the Mazda3. Its headlights can turn on whenever necessary, and the wipers can turn on automatically, too. Even the side mirrors can feature advanced elements with integrated turn signals, memory positioning, and heating elements.
Technology
Mazda has given this sedan a large center display along with Pandora internet radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. SiriusXM and navigation are both optional as well. In some trims, the center display measures 8.8 inches, and in others, it measures 10.25 inches. With all of this technology in the cabin, you'll have access to a lot of information when you're traveling around Dyess AFB and Caps. You can easily call others, check messages, and play your favorite music or podcasts. The standard six-speaker audio system does a nice job producing sound, and you can upgrade to an eight-speaker or 12-speaker Bose sound system. To keep your devices charged, take advantage of the USB ports.
Safety
The Mazda3's multiple driver-assist systems can work to protect you. Programs like lane departure warning, driver attention alert, frontal collision warning, and blind spot monitoring can inform you of safety concerns. If necessary, the car can adjust your steering and braking to keep you away from harm.
Trims
Mazda makes six trims of this sedan. The entry-level 2.5 S has smartphone compatibility and driver-assist technologies, making it modern. Notable features of the 2.5 S Select Sport include leatherette seats and 18-inch alloy wheels, and the 2.5 S Preferred has been enhanced with a power moonroof and heated front seats. With its red leather seats and dark exterior color scheme, the 2.5 S Carbon Edition looks bold and aggressive. The remaining trims, the 2.5 Carbon Turbo and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, perform better. The Carbon Turbo looks great with its Zircon Sand Metallic exterior color and Terracotta leatherette seats, and the Turbo Premium Plus has a 360-degree monitor and more advanced technology.
